I started Artemis with a clear belief that the law should be a catalyst for ambition.
Every founder is a futurist. Whether they are building a company, pursuing an idea or creating something entirely new, they start with a vision of a future that does not yet exist. I believe the law plays a vital role in turning that vision into reality.
I’ve spent more than a decade in law and banking, working across the entire spectrum of business, from billion-dollar M&A transactions to pre-seed founders building their companies from the ground up. Along the way, I kept seeing the same thing: ambitious businesses holding back on important decisions because legal support was too expensive, too slow and too hard to access. It shouldn’t be that way.
I built Artemis in response to, and as a protest against, the traditional law firm model, which I believe no longer serves business. For too long, small businesses have been burdened with high and unexpected costs, slow processes, and a model that rewards time spent rather than value created. I founded Artemis because I believe there is a better way to practise law.
